Creating Futures: Focused on People

This key event is for the Headteachers of Primary, Secondary and Special schools in the county. We will focusing  on our most valuable resource – people.  How we attract, support and grow individuals to lead vibrant learning communities where people can thrive.  We’ll be looking at the pressing issues of recruiting and retaining teachers but through a fresh lense, and we have an exciting range of familiar and new speakers to inspire and challenge us:

We will also be joined by Dr Tina Rae and colleagues from  the DfE Sub-National Teacher Supply Unit, and  the National College Education, who will be leading workshops for smaller group discussions on particular topics

Workshops on recruitment and retention, talent management, mental health and wellbeing, peer group mentoring  and other related  topics to extend thinking and learning.

An uplifting performance by children from the Dartford Choral Project  and for guests staying for dinner a live swing band!
